GPL: Didi Dramani backs Hearts of Oak to overcome Young Apostles on Sunday

Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani is confident his side will overcome Young Apostles in their Ghana Premier League clash this weekend.

The Phobians, after failing to win any of their last five league matches, are keen on returning to winning ways in their next fixture.

On Sunday, April 5, the team will host Young Apostles at the Accra Sports Stadium in their Week 28 fixture.

Speaking in a pre-match interview, Didi Dramani backed his side to take all three points, but stressed that they must be clinical on the matchday.

“They [Young Apostles] are youthful side. They run a lot. They are very transitional; you know, they can also move the ball, but I think that we are also very strong in the way we want to work on, you know, our approach, and then we need to be very consistent in the way we are.

“I hope that we can close up the spaces that expose us in the last game, and then we can be more clinical and more purposeful when we break them up in our offensive play,” Didi Dramani told Hearts TV.

In his pre-match interview, the coach appealed to supporters to troop to the stadium to support and cheer on the side to victory against Young Apostles.

“I think that our fans have always been there for us. We urge them to continuously be behind us. We encourage them to come in their numbers. They should continue to support the only club that they love. And then we are very, very committed to the course of the club to turn things around,” Didi Dramani added.

The Week 28 fixture between Hearts of Oak and Young Apostles will kick off at 3 pm on Sunday.
